Postdoctoral Position in CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing in Insects (University of Montpellier)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing experiments in insects. The successful candidate will perform gene knock-out studies in a lepidopteran species to investigate detoxification functions. This position is based at UMR-DGIMI, located at the University of Montpellier, France.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, preferably in insects.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Background in evolutionary biology, entomology, genomics, or toxicology is an advantage.
